I’m quite excited about some new wedding albums that I saw at the Focus exhibition in the NEC the other day.
These are very similar in style to the Graphistudio albums that are quite popular but are better made and come in a wider variety of styles.
I will post some images of them on this blog when I get some so that you can all see.
Well it’s Sunday morning and I’m just finishing off some paperwork.
I’m off to Focus On Imaging the big photographic exhibition at the NEC tomorrow with two other Southampton wedding photographers.
Quite looking forward to seeing what’s going to be new in the world of digital photography.
Blimey! How much?!
That’s what went through my mind when I worked out the cost of all the upgraded equipment I’ve bought for this seasons weddings.
When we worked with film cameras years ago we would keep our cameras for years without needing any other outlay than a yearly service to blow the dust out.
Nowadays, with the increases in digital cameras happening almost daily it’s a struggle to keep abreast of it all.
Who’d be a wedding photographer, eh?!
Looks like I’m doing my first civil partnership!
Jason and Marc live in Trowbridge which is quite a way from me so looks like I’ll be getting up extra early the day they tie the knot!
I’m quite nervous as well as quite excited as this is the first time of doing one of these so lots of research coming up but I’m sure it will all go smoothly and be a great day.
Looks like 2009 is going to be a busy year!
I booked 2 more for 2009 today so the diary is filling up nicely!

Another Monday morning. 
Am sat at my computer editing wedding pictures for a website I’m contributing for.
Busy busy!
Well after carefull thought I’ve decided to keep my prices the same for this year and next.
I chatted about it to a photographer friend and he suggested that the volume of bookings I was getting was related to the fact that I’m very reasonable compared to other Southampton wedding photographers.
So there we are, no Ferrari for me then!
I’ve just got off the phone from a wedding album supplier whose going to make me a custom album for my clients!
It’s nice when different companies can work together and they’ve agreed to produce a ‘photobook’ to my design so that should be good.
Will post a picture of it when the sample comes through in a couple of weeks.

It must be February as the enquiries are flying in!
A lot of people are going to bridal shows to see all the various suppliers this year. I’ve decided not to do any this time as I believe with the internet being as pervasive as it is most people can see the wedding photographers stuff online.
