Lovely wedding in Hamble
Hooray!
The weathermen were wrong and we had no rain at all today for the wedding of Tammy & Jason.
Everything went great despite the Priest at the Church being grumpy!

I’ve just seen the weather forecast for Saturday
It’s forecasting rain which is not good as I have a wedding at St. Andrews Church in Hamble.
Fingers crossed that they’ve got it wrong!
Just a little brag really but one of my weddings has been nominated for wedding of the year in the You And Your Wedding magazine.
Results are out next month so fingers crossed.
All change here at Pascoe Towers.
I’m starting to take on portrait work as well as weddings.
I’m going to be taking some test pictures of friends and their children so I’ll post some images up here soon.
Steph & Glynn were married on Friday at the Potters Heron.
The weather changed from rain all week to sunshine on the day of their wedding – fantastic!
The lucky pair are in Jamaica for 2 weeks now.

I booked another wedding today at the Potters Heron in Ampfield.
Natalie and Daniel were originally getting married at Rhinefield House but have moved the venue to Ampfield Church with the reception just down the road at The Potters Heron.
Although the wedding isn’t until 2010 Natalie & Daniel wanted to get things sorted now and after meeting up with them yesterday we’ve booked things in for next year.
I’m looking forward to next year already!

Had a fantastic wedding last Friday at Bitterne Church followed by the DeVere New Place at Shirrell Heath.
The wedding was the son of a very close friend of mine Colin.
Matthew & Fiona are now in Cape Verde enjoying the sun.
Just a quick note to say I did book the lovely Steph & Glynn tonight for their wedding at the Potters Heron so will be looking forward to doing that one in May
I’m determined this year that I will post more on here as last year I was a bit slow at getting stuff up on here.
Judging from the number of registered users I have on here I can see that some people check the posts quite regularly.
I have another enquiry to go to this evening for the Potters Heron at Ampfield near Romsey.
I do love this venue, since the refurb that they have had it’s a really lovely and modern place to get married.
Their wedding bookings seem to be increasing so I guess that the word is getting around about them.
I’ll post how I get on.
Yesterday was a great day.
I went to Focus On Imaging which is a photography exhibition in the NEC at Birmingham.
It was a long tiring day but was worth it as I saw lots of suppliers of wedding products and have seen some interesting new products which I may start using.
I’ve just taken a booking for later this year at The Waters Edge in Dibden, near Southampton.
Fiona and Alex are getting married at Romsey Register office and the reception will be back at The Waters Edge which is at Dibden Golf Course
Just booked my first wedding at Careys Manor. Quite looking forward to it as although a lot of my photographer friends have done weddings there, I’ve not yet done one.
Spent today looking around the place with my camera in hand to scout it out so looking forward to the big day.

Careys Manor
Lorna and Ian had a wonderful day today, the weather was fantastic as was the wedding itself.
A couple of photo’s from the day are below.
Jackie & Dave were married at the Hotel Terravina at the weekend.
Once again the weather was fine and the couple looked fantastic.
Well it had to happen didn’t it?!
I have been so lucky this year with avoiding the rain but there was no getting away from it on Friday. It teemed it down!
Luckily there was just a big enough break in the rain to get the shots we needed for Annie and Chris.
Highcliffe Castle in Bournemouth makes a very dramatic setting for a wedding.
Sophie & Nick got married in style with the reception at Westover Hall
Yesterday was the wedding of Leanne and Stuart at the Lyndhurst Park Hotel.
The day was fantastic and the bride looked radiant as I’m sure you’ll agree.
Can’t wait to show the couple the final prints.
Yesterdays wedding went very well and what a lovely church St. Peters at Curdrige is.
Here are some photo’s of Jo and Simon from the day.
I had the privilege of being the photographer at Nicky and Graham’s wedding this weekend.
Not only did the weather forecast get it COMPLETELY wrong (thank goodness!) the day was fantastic!
The wedding was at Bitterne Church of England and the reception was at Ford (the car company’s!) social club!
Although this sounds odd the club is fantastic and the place looked amazing as a specialist catering company had decked the place out.
Unusually the groom on this occasion took the bride’s surname rather than the more common instance of the bride taking the grooms.
The lucky pair are in Jamaica at the moment so will not be able to see their pics until they come home complete with tan no doubt.
I have been booked today to do a wedding at Curdridge Church this August.
This is the shortest lead time I’ve ever had!
The wedding is 2 weeks away, nothing like leaving it to the last minute!
Saturday’s wedding was fantastic!
Not only was the ceremony at St. Peters church in Winchester beautiful but the reception was at the amazing Lainsone House near Winchester.
This venue is incredible. Fantastic building set in gorgeous grounds.
Wish I had more there this year.
Had a lovely wedding on Friday. The wedding itself was at a Salvation Army Church and the reception was at the Botleigh Grange Hotel in Botley (funnily enough!)
The forecast was rain (again) and the sun shined the whole day! I’m so glad they got it wrong!
I booked another wedding for the lovely Chilworth Manor Hotel today. I love this venue, it’s one of my favourites.
Looking forward to the day.

Chilworth Manor Hotel
I’ve got an interesting wedding this weekend. The wedding is at the Winchester Hotel which is a very modern hotel, very light and airy, which has a civil licence.
What is interesting is that ALL of the pictures will be inside as there is no place to take pictures outside (unless you want them on the main road!!!)
I’ll post some pictures here for you to see after the weekend.
I have just booked a wedding for the romantically named village of Lover.
Apparently people come from all over to post their valentines cards from there so that they have a Lover postmark.
The church looks lovely from the pictures that I’ve seen of it so I’m looking forward to taking Annie & Chris’s pictures there on what will hopefully be a warm Friday wedding in September.
I’ve just booked another Friday wedding in Southampton.
Now that civil weddings are more and more popular its not just the Saturdays that get booked up quickly for the summer months.
If you’re getting married in the Summer in Hampshire on a weekday and you’ve not booked your photographer yet then now might be a good time to do so before we all get booked!!!!
Just a quick blog to say that Vision Video have asked me to be their recommended photographer for their wedding video clients.
Well I’m not going to say no now Peter am I?!
I will post a link to their forthcoming new website when it goes live next month.
I’ve just booked a wedding for The Potters Heron in Ampfield.
I love it there so looking forward to some lovely shots both in and outside the lovely thatched hotel.
